Graham Cooke
Founder & Chairman
Graham E. Cooke is a UK-based entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in travel publishing, events and technology. For the last 24 years he has organised and run the VIP Lounges and Business Centres for over 100 Exhibitions in 30 Countries as well as VIP and Business Centres at two FIFA World Cups and the World Exposition in Seville.
Graham is currently the President of World Travel Awards, the world's only global travel awards ceremony. Now in its 14th year and with voting from over 160,000 travel agents from over 160 countries around the world, World Travel Awards is recognised by hotels, airlines and destinations as the highest accolade in travel and tourism. Graham is Chairman of World Travel Group a leading travel publisher. The company produces eleven travel news magazines including industry leader, Breaking Travel News, Internet Travel News, Airline Travel News, Hotels Travel News, as well as the Very Best stable of magazines that focus on promoting excellence in travel and leisure. For the last nine years Graham has also managed the VIP Lounge, The Meridian Buyers Lounge and Internet Cafes at seven of the World�s Leading Travel Exhibitions including World Travel Market in London, ITB in Berlin and Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
Graham is also Founder of VeryLastMinute.com Limited supplier of the direct booking inventory site VLMdirect.com which features the largest hotel inventories online. He is also the owner of the World�s largest online directory of virtual tours. The Company is the World's largest provider of travel information data for airlines and hotels.
David Ryder
Managing Director
David Ryder, a senior mobile and telecommunications veteran, joined World Mobi Limited in November 2007 as Senior Vice President.
Previously, he was Vice President at Mobile ESPN, NYC, where he was responsible for Sales, Channels, Distribution, Products, Pricing, and all Operations.
Prior to that, Mr. Ryder worked in a variety of executive management positions at British Telecom across the world, including the launch of BTOpenzone, the first WiFi network in the UK, the development of BT Fusion and a number of other high profile roles within the fixed, wireless and internet divisions. He holds a BSC Hons in Computing Science from the University of East Anglia.
