Today, Google made the mobile web that much more interesting. They launched Google Buzz, a Facebook style social network which integrates Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Latitude. People can make status updates, make comments, share links and photos. The most powerful aspect of Google Buzz is the integration with Google Latitude (the mobile app which allows users to track each others location using Google Maps) and its use of location based status updates. The development of map applications for mobile, location sharing and status updating all mean increased usage and prevalence of mobile in everyday life.
